On the morning of Sep 10, 2025, the 'Promarsa III', belonging to the Red Chamber fleet, could not leave the Piedra Buena dock in Puerto Madryn as intended, as a couple of crew members from the former Alpesca were missing, whom the company had promised would be hired, This generated unrest among the sailors, who didn't want to miss the trip. The union that represents the sailors has been denouncing repeated violations by the company. The incident occurred just hours after the resolution ordering Red Chamber to return Alpesca's assets by Sep 30 and pay $2.52 billion to the public treasury was announced. The captain of the 'Promarsa III', along with the SOMU leader and company representatives, were summoned to appear before the local authorities of the Argentine Naval Prefecture to clarify what happened.
