Short but intense fire
A short but intense fire raged on board the "Prins Bernhard" on Oct 18, 2013. The fire broke out in one of the holds of the ship that was moored at the Mackerel Quay in Ijmuiden. A crewman who was on guard remarked the fire which caused a lot of smoke. The fire rescue of Kemmerland attended with strong forces and put out the flames. The cause of the fire was unknown.
