True-Brother

During the unloading of grain, an incident occurred on the 'True Brother' at the port of Misrata on Nov 21, 2025, while the ship was berthed at the port's grain silo facility. Authorities were investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. The sdhip had sailed from San Lorenzo on Oct 12 and arrived in Misrata on Nov 15.

On May 3, 2013 at 6:45 p.m. the "Ljuta" reported to the MRCC Joburg via semaphore Villerville, that one of his crew was sick. MRCC Joburg organized a conference call with the Centre for Maritime medical consultation (CCMM) in Toulouse and Marine Medical Service Coordination (SCMM) Le Havre who recommended a medevac. A Dragon 76 helicopter Dragon 76 was dispatched to the area with a medical team, which was hoisted aboard the cargo ship to support the sick man and prepare to transfer him. After hoisting the crew member was taken to the Jacques Monod Hospital in Le Havre, where he arrived around 8 pm. At that time the "Ljuta" was at anchor about 16 km west of Le Havre.
