Traveller

On Mar 6, 2015, the "Traveller" helped to get a critically ill girl of 7 to hospital. The crew of the "Traveller" had received an emergency call from the island of St. Helena . The girl had to hurry to the hospital, but because the island was quite remote, that was difficult. People on the island had contacted the Coast Guard, which per satellite checked which ships were in the vicinity. The "Traveller" was en route from Durban to the Virgin Islands and St. Helena was well on the way. They only had a few hours to to sail. In the night to Mar 7 the sip took on board the sick girl, her parents and doctors. On Mar 8 it arrived at Ascension where the USA are having an air base and a military plane was already waiting that took the patient flew to Londen where she was slowly recovering since.
