Potentia rescued man who fell over board from Kavka 3
Salvamento Marítimo has participated in the rescue of a Russian crew member of the 'Kavka 3', who fell over board and was found by the 'Potentia' some 55 miles south-southeast of Cartagena on Nov 8, 2022, while en route from Jebel Ali to Marsaxlokk. The Almería and Cartagena coordination centers of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the Helimer 202 helicopter. The man showed signs of hypothermia, although he was conscious. The helicopter hoisted him aboard and took him to Almería Airport for further care.
