Terasea takes delivery of anchorhandler Terasea Eagle

Dec 03, 2013 09:47

Terasea Pte Ltd of Singapore, part of the POSH Terasea consortium, has taken delivery of the Terasea Eagle, the third anchorhandler in a series of four identical vessels to be built by the Universal Shipbuilding Corp in Japan. The 75.3m vessel has a bollard pull of 200 tonnes thanks to a pair of Wartsila 12V32 main engines generating a total of 16,300 bhp. Large fuel tanks give this new quartet excellent endurance whether engaged in long distance operations or standing by offshore.
