Tanker boarded by perpetrators
While the 'Endeavour II', was moored in position 06 04 57.0N 125 11 57.6E, at the General Santos harbour anchorage, Philippines, the duty officer and able seaman were conducting safety rounds, when they saw some perpetrators on the forecastle on March 12, 2020, at 01.57 a.m. The duty officer immediately informed the Master, who activated the general alarm. Upon hearing the alarm, the perpetrators fled the vessel and escaped in a small boat. A ship security search was conducted and the padlock to the bosun store was found to be broken. Nothing was stolen and the none of the crew members were injured.
