Freighter allided with quay
On March 17, 2019, at 1:30 a.m. the "Tornes', coming from Aalesund, allided with a quay upon entering the port of Rørvik, No one was injured in the incident. The ship, which carried sea salt, suffered severe bow damage above the waterline. Investigations have been launched , and a police patrol webt on board. The Norwegian Maritime Directorate was also notified and carried out further investigations. There was no suspicion of drugs having contributed to the accident.
