On July 8, 2025, the "Polar"was detained in Kocaeli with 20 deficiencies, five of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Life saving Appliances - Lifeboats Not ready for use 2) Certificate & Doc - Safety management Certificate Entries missing 3) Safety of navigation reports' Expired 4) Fire safety - Fire doors/openings in fire resisting divisions Not as required 5) Water/Weathertight' - Doors Not properly maintained The vessel was released again on July 10 and left the port on July 12, en route to Dörtyol with an ETA as of July 16. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063576908591
