Chinese worker in hospital after 4metre fall while unloading logs
A Chinese man is in Tauranga Hospital after he fell about four metres when a heavy metal cable knocked him off a pile of logs inside a ship docked at the Port of Tauranga. The 29-year-old man was unloading logs on the ship called Poavosa Wisdom VI at berth nine when the cable, called a strop, knocked him down into one of the ship’s steel holds.
