Medevac off El Abra
On Aug 27, 2021, the 'Arklow Dawn', anchored in El Abra, requested the medical evacuation of the chief engineer who had cut his leg. Salvamento Marítimo deployed the SAR boat 'Salvamar Alcyone' to take the victim off. He was transported to the base and then transferred to the Hospital de Cruces Barakaldo.
