In the evening of Mar 28, 2012, at 6.30 p.m. the KNRM-station Neeltje Jans was called for a medevac off a Romanian engineer from the "Mary Wonsild", which was moored at Schouwenbank anchorage 15 miles off the coast. The tanker was enroute Rotterdam - Antwerp. The lifeboat "Christien", actually replacing the "Koopmansdank", which is being overhauled, was on scene within 35 minutes. Due to calm weather conditions the man could be transferred safely. Upon arrival at Neeltje Jans the man was transferred to the hospital in Goes.
