Robbery attempt thwarted
The "Maersk Mishima" was approached by four robbers in a boat at the Insular oil terminal, in position 07 06 54N, 125 39 30E, on Aug 27, 2018, at 8 p.m. The duty crew noticed the robbers and raised alarm. Seeing the crew's alertness, the robbers aborted their boarding attempt and escaped. The Philippines Coast Guard was informed about the incident.
