The "Phoenix J" (IMO: 9504047) sailed from Rauma on Apr 30 and passed the Kiel Canal westbound on May 3 bound for Bremerhaven where it will be repaired at the Bredo Yard (Bremerhavener Dockbetriebe), ETA May 4.
Phoenix flying again
On Apr 22 at 4.15 p.m. the "Phoenix J" was finally refloated. The vessel was towed to a safe anchorage to be controlled by divers. As they did not find structural damage, at 5.50 p.m. the "Phoenix J" could finally be towed to the port of Rauma with an ETA of 9 p.m. No environmental damage has been reported. After at least a part of the cargo is unloaded, the vessel will be drydocked on Apr 24 or 25.
