Allision in Piraeus
On the afternoon of March 4, the Port Authority of the Argosaronic Gulf was informed that during the arrival of 'Phivos' at the port of Piraeus, the ferry allided with the pier of the port of Piraeus (gate E8), resulting in damage to the port side stern. The ship was on a scheduled route from the port of Aegina with 186 passengers, 31 vehicles and seven motorcycles. No injuries were reported from the incident and no marine pollution was observed. The 'Phivos' safely docked at the port of Piraeus and disembarked the passengers and vehicles. The Argosaronic Gulf Port Guard of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus banned the shipo from sailing until thepresentation of a seaworthiness certificate by the monitoring classification society.
Ferry suffered ramp failure
On the morning of Feb 26, 2026, the Port Authority of the Argosaronic Gulf was informed by the captain of the ''Phivos' that the ramp could not be opened ahead of the scheduled crossing to the port of Aegina. The Argosaronic Gulf Port Guard of the 1st Port Department Tzelepi of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus banned the ship from sailing until the damage was repaired and a repair certificate was presented by the monitoring classification society. At the same time, the procedure for imposing the prescribed administrative sanctions was initiated. The passengers were forwarded to their destination with the care of the ship-owning company.
Engine damage in Aegina
On the morning of Aug 7, 2925,the Port Authority of Aegina was informed by the Captain of the 'Phivos' about a generator failure ahead of the departure for the execution of a scheduled route to the ports of Methana and Poros. The Port Authority of Aegina prohibited the departure of the ferry until the repair of the damage and the presentation of a certificate of class maintenance from the monitoring classification society. The 335 passengers, 36 private cars, one truck one bus and 13 motorcycles, were forwarded to their destinations with the care of the ship-owning company.

On June 20, 2024, at noon , the Port Authority of Argosaronicos was informed by the Master of the 'Phivos' about a damage to the port side main engine, while the ship was on a scheduled route from the port of Aegina to the port of Piraeus. The ferry sailed independently and safely to the port of Piraeus, where it disembarked the 133 passengers. The Port Department of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus banned the vessel from sailing until the repair of the damage and the presentation of a certificate of class maintenance by the monitoring classification society.
Ship lost anchor
The Port Authority of Piraeus was informed in the morning of Oct 8, 2021, by the Captain of the 'Phivos' that while the ship was operating a scheduled route coming from the port of Aegina, lost its port side anchor shortly before the completion of the mooring process. The ship managed to safely berth in the port of Piraeus, and the passengers who were to board the ship on its next scheduled route to Aegina, were forwarded to their destination with the care of the ship-owning company.
Bow thruster damage in Piraeus
on June 3, 2019, the master of the "Phivos" upon its arrival at the port of Piraeus, coming from Aegina, reported that the vessel had suffered a damage to its bow thruster. The Port authority detained the ferry in port until the bow thruster was repaired and a class maintenance certificate was issued. All 20 passengers who were waiting to board the vessel were transferred to another vessel and transported to their destinations.
