Dredger high and dry
On Nov 9, 2013, at 7 a.m. the "Tinganes" underway to Vistdalen ran aground off Nesje beach in Molde. There was a crew of four on board which were not harmed. Three of the crew were Faroese , while the fourth was coming from Lithuania The police could walk safely from the shore and board the dredger with a ladder at the bow. The captain admitted he fall asleep at the wheel. Once the ship was salvaged, it was to be surveyed by divers at Vestnesstraumen. There were no signs of leakage.
