Robbers stole ship's stores
The duty watch on board the 'Nordic Seoul' noticed two robbers armed with knives on the forward mooring station and notified the duty officer at the Callao anchorage in position 11 59 34.2S, 77 14 06.0W, on March 11, 2021, at 02.10 a.m. The alarm was raised, a PA announcement was made and the crew mustered. Upon hearing the alarm, the robbers fled the vessel and escaped with the stolen stores of the ship. The incident was reported to the local authorities and a Coast Guard patrol vessel was dispatched to search the waters around the bulk carrier.
