On May 23, 2025, at 1.56 a.m. the 'Petrel Pacific' was boarded by four perpetrators, armed with knives, about 1.8 nautical miles off Helen Mar, Racon, in pos. 1°6.9' N 103° 44.67' E, while underway in the eastbound lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme (TSS) of Singapore Strait (SS). The intruders stole engine spares.
