Helmsman died after falling over board

Mar 04, 2020 11:14

The Cuban national Juan Carlos Navarrete, 58, who served as a helmsman aboard the 'Petion' died when the tanker was carrying oil from Amuay Bay to Cienfugos. He died after falling over board while the ship was anchored in Amuay Bay in western Venezuela. The ship was one of those sanctioned by the United States Government for transporting oil to Cuba.
