Allision in Kiel
On Dec 12, 2017, at 9.30 a.m. the "Bergen Troll" allided with the 30-m-pontoon barge "Hörn 20" (CS: DJRE) in the East Shore Port in Kiel. The tanker had suffered technical problems with the rudder propellers and slammed into the moored barge. The damage was significant. The tanker was detained until the cause of the failure has been established. The bunker tanker "Eloise" was called as a replacement for the supply of the Kiel-Oslo-ferries of Color-Line.
