Dredger took disabled vessel in tow
While on the run to hide for the hurricane Matthew the "Pedro Alvares Cabral" received a Mayday call by VHF in the morning of Ocvt 2, 2016, from the f/v "Haibe Express" with six crew memebers on board. Immediately the course was change,d followed by a rendezvous later. The fishing vessel was taken in tow by the dredger and towed towards the coast of Haiti where the responsibility was handed over to the local Coastguard which brought the vessel into port.
