Blackout in Brunsbüttel
On Oct 8, 2019, at 2.45 p.m. the 'Pavino', enroute to Bilbao, suffered a total blackout in the New Southern lock of the Kiel Canal in Brunsbüttel. There was also no more electricity on board due to unknown reasons. The police went on board for investigations. At 3.50 p.m. the vessel had regained power and left the lock towards the Northsea with an ETA as of Oct 12.
Disabled tanker towed to Korsakov
The Pavino" suffered engine failure on Oct 28, 2016, in the Okhotsk Sea, while en route to Vladivostok. The vessel went adrift and was in position 47 16N 150 15 E in the morning of Oct 29. The salvage tug "Atlas" (IMO: 8724119) left Korsakov and took the tanker in tow to Korsakov, ETA Oct 30.
