Tanker ran aground on Paraná River
On the early morning of Nov 11, 2025. the 'Paulino C' ran aground in a section of the main Paraná River channel, downstream from San Lorenzo. The Argentine Naval Prefecture and the Port of San Pedro were coordinating efforts to refloat it and ensure safe navigation The tanker was not affecting port operations in San Pedro. Tugs were called to stabilize the vessel and move it to deeper water. Port and Coast Guard authorities were constantly monitoring the situation until the vessel had been freed. The ship was refloated on Nov 12 and berthed in Campana on the morning of Nov 13. The 'Paulino C' had recently completed maintenance and repairs in San Lorenzo.
