Detention in Tianjin
The 'Patmos John' was detained in Tianjin on Sep 29, 2025, by the Tokyo Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) authority. An initial inspection identified a total of ten deficiencies, two of which were being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention. The ship, which had arrived on Sep 28 enroute from Zhangjiagang, remained stationary in port as of Oct 1.
