PAROS 9711511

Dec 28, 2017 10:16

In the evening of Dec 27, 2017, the "Paros" broke off her moorings in the Sloe Port in Flushing and got stuck with its stern on the shore with the stern. The tanker had been moored at the buoys. The tugs "Multratug 9", "Multratug 27", "Union 8" as well as the patrol boats "VLB 7" and "RWS 78" of Rijkswaterstaat were quickly on the spot, but the captain does not accept any help under LOF. At 11 p.m. the ship was moored at the RoRo-pontoon in the northern Quarleshaven with the patrol boat "VLB 6" (MMSI: 244650887) at its side. The tanker had arrived from Sines on Dec 24 around noon. It left the port again on Jan 4, 2018, at 1.20 a.m., next being bound to Suez, ETA Jan 15. Dutch photo report: http://www.tugspotters.com/app/content/2017/12/tanker-paros-trossen-gebroken-sloe/
