Blackout on the Wester Scheldt
The "Parandowski" suffered an engine blackout schort after having sailed from Flushing on July 6, 2012, around 6.30 p.m. The ship was temporarily adrift near buoy 2 on the Wester Scheldt. The tug "Union Grizzly" went on standby until the power was restored and the ship was able to continue its voyage safely. It berthed at Halmstad in the foremidday of July 8.
