Bulkcarrier grounded off Cuba
The "Northern Light", which ran aground on Mar 13, 2015, in position 20 22 N 078 06 W 55 miles west of Manzanillo in southwest Cuba, was still stuck more than one week later. The vessel had left Jamaica with 25155 tons of raw sugare on board, bound for Klaipeda. The salvage was conducted by the Cuban salvage company Antillana de Salvamento. On Mar 22 the Bulkcarrier was still aground.
