On June 22, 2021, the 'Yangtze Falcon', en route from New Orleans to Malta, requested the medical evacuation of a crew member who had been injured by a severe blow to the head. The MRCC in AlmerÃa mobilized the SAR helicopter Helimer 215 to the scene, which carried out the medical evacuation at 4.14 a.m. about 30 nautical miles southeast of Cabo de Gata. The crew member was conscious and stable.
