Detention in Ningbo
The 'Pan Emerald' was detained in the port of Ningbo on March 8, 2026. after its arrival from Port Hedland and following an initial inspection under the Tokyo MoU. The inspectors found ten deficiencies, three of which were regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention. The ship, managed by the ISM company POS SM Co., Ltd., left the port again on March 10 and anchored in pos. 31° 10' N 122° 34' E, where it remained stationary as of March 12.
