Engineer inured in work accident
On Oct 16, 2021, the 'Maersk Yangtze', en rotue from Salvador de Bahía to Cartagena, notified the Gabinete de Investigação de Acidentes Marítimos e da Autoridade para a Meteorologia Aeronáutica (GAMA) that, while carrying out work in the engine room, the 3rd Engineer had suffered a serious injury. Remote medical assistance was requested. The GAMA has started collecting evidence for analysis.
