Crew member medevaced with chemical burns
In the early morning of Sep 23, 2022, the 'Tayma Express' requested medical assistance for a crew member who had suffered chemical burns, and whose condition was deteriorating. The ship was under way 70 nautical miles southeast of Shanghai. The SAR vessel 'Dong Hai Jiu 321' medevaced the victim who was later transferred to hospital. On Sep 22 the sihp had arrived at Yangshan Port anchorage en route from Qingdao and headed towards the Yangtze estuary in the evening, where she rendezvouse with the SAR ship. After disembarking the injured crew member, the container ship returned to Yangshan Anchorage and berthed in port on Sep 24. On Sep 25 it left Yangshan, bound for Kaohsiung with an ETA as of Sep 26.
