The 'Tayga' ran aground in vicinity47 08 22 N, 039 29 13 E, on the Elizavetinskiy shoal in the Azov district on March 14, 2023, at 8.20 p.m. On March 15 at 6 a.m. the rising water level allowed the vessel to refloat and proceed to the port of Azov unassisted. No spills were reported.
