The 'Panamax Nostos' ran aground during the southbound transit of the Suez Canal at kilometer mark 42abeam of Ismailia, on Dec 3, 2020, at 8.30 a.m. She blocked seven ships in a convoy which were sailing behind. The ship, which was enroute from Ilchivsk to Port Said, moored on the Great Bitter Lake Anchorage in pos. 30° 18.40' N 032° 24.11' E at 6.30 p.m.
