Medevac in Luzon
A 33-year old Russian crew member of the 'Asphalt Transporter' suffered from fever and corona-like symptoms for for days on Apri, 5, 2020. The tanker interrupted the voyage from Kaohsiung to Newcastle in Australia, and headed for the Mati port in Southeast Luzon. The man was taken off the ship on April 7 and transferred to a waiting aircraft to be flown to Manila for treatment. The tanker resumed its voyage the same day with an ETA as of April 14.
