Tanker chased by pirates
The "Pacific Sky" was hunted by pirates 180 miles south of Port Porbandar in the Indian Ocean. The pirates chased the ship with four boats and tried to board it, but failed. The pursuit took place a week ago. "The captain issued distress signals via VHT Channel 16 and warned all ships nearby. He then increased the speed of the ship and notified the British Navy's information center and the Indian Coast Guard, after which he continued the voyage from Umm Said to Yosu. The Indian authorities then contacted the ship to investigate the incident.
