A check was carried out by a diving team, but it was not possible to remove all the sections of the rope from the shaft. The Port Authority of Mytilene prohibited the departure of theship until the presentation of a seaworthiness certificate. The the ship set sail for a single voyage to the port of Keratsini with 20 crew members, 24 vehicles and four drivers on board.

On the evening of Sep 21, 2024, the Port Authority of Naxos was informed by the Master of the ‘Talos’ that it is deemed unsafe to approach the port due to adverse weather conditions that prevailed in the area and continued its route to the port of Paros. On the ship, 16 people were waiting to disembark, who were disembarked at the port of Naxos when the ship returned from the port of Paros, while 17 people boarded.
