Yacht bumped into small boats
On June 16, 2017, around 12:10 a.m., in the course of dredging operations assisted by the staff of the "Marina di Portofino", the "Tales" with 12 crew members and 8 guests aboard, lying at the center of the port , was about to leave the port. She suffered technical problems during the recovery of the anchor, and bumped into several leisure boats behind the in a small boe field of the harbour. The Italian Navy sent two inflatable boats which reduced the slow advancement of the yacht along with the "GC A96" of the Coastguard. At the same time, the yacht commander got the yacht moving forward. But during the straightening maneuver, the yacht collided with the aft platform oof another moored vessel which, by domino effect, slammed into other boats. The yacht then proceeded slowly out of the harbour and moored in front of Portofino. There was damage to 12 boats, some of them seriously.
