Medevac off Penmarc'h
A crew member of the 'Marlin V', en route from Abidjan to Rotterdam, who was experiencing health concerns, was evacuated by helicopter on Dec 20, 2ß22. around 1:50 a.m. The ship was then 160 nautical miles from the tip of Penmarc'h (Finistère). The Filipino sailor was hoisted aboard a Cayman helicopter from the Lanvéocnaval base. The operation ended around 2:50 a.m.. and the man was treated at the Cavale Blanche hospital in Brest. The coordination of operations was carried out by the CROSS Étel.
