Engine failure off Nara
The 'My Zeynep' suffered an engine failure off the coast of Nara in the Dardanelles on Aug 21, 2025. The ship was en route from Alexandria to Constanta. The Çanakkale Ship Traffic Services Center deplöoyed the tugs 'Kurtarma 19' (IMO: 9995129) and 'Türkeli' (IMO: 9816256) to assist. The ship was taken in tow and safely moored at the Şevketiye Anchorage n pos. 40° 25' N 026° 50' E. It weighed anchor on Aug 23 and headed towards the shipyard area in Tuzla, where it arrived in pos. 40° 51' N 029° 15' E on the morning of Aug 25. Grounding off off Vadrai Beach
The 'Sea Siddhee' ran aground due to a technical snag, while en route from Mumbai to Gujarat’s Hazira Port in Gujarat in the Arabian Sea near the Palghar district in Maharashtra off Vadrai Beach on July 23, 2023, with 13 crew members on board.
