Tanker assisted distressed boat
The Port Authority of Lavrio was informed on May 1, 2022, at noon, that the pleasure boat 'Eleonora' with thee people on board had reported water ingress in the Saronic Gulf. Two patrol boats as well as the ferry 'Blue Star Naxos', the 'Star Power', the 'SI SOS 1' and the 'Panbagiota 2' headed to the reported position. The boat was located, with the crew in good health, and it was towed safely by the port of Keratsini and taken out of the water by a crane vehicle.
