On March 6, 2025. the 'My Reyhan' was detained in Kocaeli with 22 deficiencies, seven of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Emergency systems - Enclosed space entry and rescue drills 'Not carried out' 2) Safety of navigation - Voyage or passage plan Missing 3) Fire safety - Fire detection and alarm system Not as required 4) Fire safety - Fire doors/openings in fire resisting division Not as required 5) Fire safety - Fire fighting equipment and appliances Not as required 6) Fire safety - Fixed fire exthinguishing installation Inoperative 7) Pollution Prevention - Garbage shipboard handling Lack of familirity The vessel was released again on March 7 and proceeded to Batumi, where it arrived on March 14. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063576908591

Freighter rescued yacht crew

On Sep 4, 2023, at midday the JRCC of the Greek Coast Guard as informed about a Dutch-flagged sailing vessel in a difficult position due to the inability to use the sails, 19 nautical miles northwest of Lefkada, with two crew members on board. A patrol boat was deployed, and three nearby ships notified, while one helicopter took off. The sailing vessel was located, and its two occupants were safely transferred to the 'My Reyhan', en route from Porto Nogaro, and taken to the Preveza anchorage, where they were picked up by a fishing vessel with officers from the Port Authority on board and transported safely to the port of Preveza. A preliminary investigation was being carried out by the Port Authority of Preveza.

A crew member of the "Sea Kestrel" has been airlifted to hospital on July 27, 2017, at 8.30 a.m. after an incident off the coast near Dundee. The vessel was approaching Dundee when he became ill with an undisclosed medical issue. The rescue helicopter Rescue Bond One from Aberdeen was deployed and he was flown to the Ninewells Hospital for treatment. The ship berthed in Dundee at noon and meanwhile continued to Sluiskil.
