Collsion off Singapore
On May 6, 2021, the bulk carrier 'Sinar Solo' was in collision with the 'Taho Australia' in the Singapore Strait off Lagoi, Northern Bintan Island. The ship suffered damage at starboard side in main deck area. Also several containers were damaged. The vessels anchored near the incident scene. The 'Taho Australia' resumed its voyage at 9.20 p.m. She had suffered only superficial damages and arrived in Xiaocuo on May 13. The 'Sinar Solo' shifted to Singapore Anchorage on May 7 where she moored in pos. 01° 11.23' N 103° 45.67' E and remained stationary as of May 14.
