Allision in Corfu
The "Kerkyra Express" was in allision with the docked "Odysseas" in Corfu in the morning hours of Sep 29, 2018. The "Kerkyra Express" was serving a scheduled service from the port of Igoumenitsa, with 93 passengers and 27 vehicles on board. No injuries nor marine pollution were reported. The "Odysseas" suffered scratches at the port side bow about 2,5 meters above the waterline. The "Kerkyra Express" suffered scratches at the starboard side 2,5 meters above the waterline. The "Odysseas" was detained until a certificate of seaworthiness was presented, while the captain of the "Kerkyra Express" was arrested. A preliminary investigation is carried out by the Central Port Authority of Corfu.
