Engine trouble in Bosphorus
En route from Kocaeli to Constanta, the 'Efekan 1' suffered an engine failure at the separation buoy TAD while transiting the Bosphorus early on Aug 27, 2021. Coastal Safety deployed the tug 'Kurtarma 12' to assist, and under the coordination of the VTS and our pilot the ship was pulled to an anchorage in Ahırkapı and safely moored in pos. 40° 59.00' N 028° 56.61' E.
