M.v.voyage-Express

The 'Voyage Express', en route from the Ghogha Terminal in Bhavnagar district en route to Hazira with more than 400 passengers and about 70 vehicles on boardd got stuck in the sea due to lack of adequate drafts on Nov 23, 2023, at around 05.30 a.m. The sea channel built for the vessel was filled due to lack of adequate dredging. More than five hours later, the vessel refloated with the assistance of two tugs and was brought back to Ghogha for investigations. It left for Hazira again at 11.45 a.mm. While some of the passengers got off the 'Voyage Express' with the intention of leaving the next day as it was too late, most of them chose to remain on board.
