Russian and Danish tankers collided on S-Petersburg Road
At 2150 LT Nov 9 chemical tanker Torm Saone allided with presumably, river-sea type tanker Komsomolets Volgograda (no data found on this vessel) in Anchorage 5 area, both vessels had pilots on board. Russian tanker heaved an anchor and was proceeding to Lesnoy Mol (Timber Pier) area, Danish tanker was proceeding to Anchorage 5 to Floating Storage vessel. Aft of Torm Saone allided with Komsomolets Volgograda starboard side in middle area, Russian tanker got a hole above the waterline. No leaks reported. Maritime Bulletin http://www.odin.tc
