Medevac off Astakos
The Platigialio Port Authority was briefed in the morning of March 24, 2019, that a 29-year-old crew member of the "Asim Imamoglu" was in need of immediate hospital care. He was transported with the ship's auxiliary boat to Astakos port and from there to the Astakos Health Care Center and then by ambulance vehicle to GK. Agrinio.
Engine failure in Çanakkale Strait
On Nov 7, 2012, at 5.50 a.m. the "Osman Doguyol" suffered engine failure during its north south passage of the ÇanakkaleStrait enroute Gebze-Sagunto. The Vessel Traffic Service sent the "Söndüren 7" to the vessel which posed a hazard to shipping. Around 7 a.m. the casualty was anchored off Çanakkale.
