The "Sideris GS" became disabled when the main engine overheated because the sea water system was blocked by ice in the Honguedo Strait, south of Anticosti Island, Quebec, in position 49 08 514N, 063 53 263W, on Feb 18, 2019. The crew carried out repairs while the vessel was drifting and the vessel resumed its voyage to Pointe Noire where it arrived on Feb 20.
