The "NYK Orion" suffered an engine failure in position 52 59 00.0 N, 4 02 00.0 E, on April 3, 2019, at 1 p.m. After several attempts failed to repair the engine, the ship was anchored in position 53 04.7 N, 004 04.7 E, while the problem with the oil pump pressure was still going on. Engineers arrived on April 5, and the repairs were completed on April 6 around 6 a.m. The ship resumed the voyage from Hamburg to Southampton, ETA 9 p.m.
