Detention in Tananger
The "Enny" wasd detained in Tananger/Stavanger, on Sep 30, 2025, with 14 deficiencies, four of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Structural conditions - Openings to cargo area, doors,scuttles Not as required 2) Propulsion and auxiliary machinery - Other (Machinery) Other 3) Life saving Appliances - Rescue boats Inoperative 4) ISM - Ism certificate Not as required The vessel was released again on Oct 17 and left the port en route to Aalborg, where it arrived on Oct 19. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063576908591
Grounding off Soesmarke
On March 27, 2019, at 6.45 a.m. the "Enny" ran aground off Soesmarke upon Lolland in position 54 51 N 11 44 E south of the Guldborg-Bridge. A ballast tank was damaged in the grounding. As initial refloating attempts failed, it was thought about lightering of 1.000 tons of cargo. But finally a tug managed to pull the ship back into the fairway. Once it was refloated, it headed to the port of Nykøbing-Falster with own power. It berthed in port on March 28 at 9.50 a.m. The "Enny" had sailed from Norway, being loaded with 3.200 tons granite stones. She left the port of Nykøbing-Falster again on March 30 at 7 a.m. It headed to St. Petersburg, ETA Apr 4.
Fire in engine room soon under control
Enroute from Antwerp to Lillesand the "Edmy" suffered development of heavy smoke in the engine on Nov 12, 2013, at 11 p.m. The fire alarm went on for the engine of the vessel which was at anchor in the anchorage area for the Zeeland coast, about 28 miles from Stellendam. The lifeboats "Antoinette" from Stellendam and the KNRM-lifeboats from Westkapelle and Neeltje Jans were alerted. The crew of eight of the freighter, however, was able to get the situation under control. The vessel docked at Eemhaven Pernis in Rotterdam on Nov 13 at 3 p.m. assisted by the tugs "Multratug 4" and "Texelbank". The fire damage was to be repaired at the Van Brink (Damen) Shipyard.
